Rainy Saturday Turning Cold Overnight

rainySouth Florida will be rainy on Saturday, followed by a cold finish to the weekend. Look for storms and showers on Saturday afternoon as the front sweeps through. Saturday’s highs will be around the 80 degree mark.

 

 

rainyThen the cold air moves in overnight, and Sunday will feature a chilly breeze and highs only reaching the upper 60s. It won’t be a beach day, which is a good thing, because the risk of dangerous rip currents will be high at the Atlantic beaches on Sunday into Monday.

Faith Based Events

Monday morning will start with lows in the 50s, and the day will bring clouds and a few showers on a cool breeze. Monday’s highs will be near 70 degrees.

Tuesday will see more sun, a few clouds and a shower or two on the breeze, and highs in the low 70s.

Look for sun, a few clouds, and highs in the mid 70s on Wednesday.

She holds a PhD in history when her experience with Hurricane Andrew ultimately led her to earn a degree in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University. Donna spent 15 years at WFOR-TV (CBS4 in Miami-Fort Lauderdale), where she worked as a weather producer with hurricane experts Bryan Norcross and David Bernard. She also produced hurricane specials and weather-related features and news coverage, as well as serving as pool TV producer at the National Hurricane Center during the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Donna also served as a researcher on NOAA's Atlantic Hurricane Database Reanalysis Project. Donna specializes in Florida's hurricane history.
