The legal dramas of Palm Beach pedophile Jeffrey Epstein appear to be without end.
Epstein, 64, was accused of procuring dozens of underage girls to serve as sex slaves for his well-heeled friends.
On the “criminal” front, the billionaire pled guilty in 2008 to soliciting prostitution from a 14-year-old girl as part of a plea deal that ended with an 18-month sentence for Epstein (of which he served 13).
On the “civil” front, he’s been assailed by lawsuits from more than 2 dozen of his victims.
Recent reports indicate that at least 3 of those victims have prevailed in a big way. One of the girls—identified as “Jane Doe”—received a payment of $2.5 million. Two others—known as “L.M.” and “E.W.”—received $1 million and $2 million respectively.
If other suits are successful, it could represent a meaningful dent in the billionaire’s net worth.
