November Gets Off To Breezy Start

image5South Florida will be breezy on Tuesday as November begins. Look for the return of the sun and some clouds on the breeze, a high risk of dangerous rip currents at the Atlantic beaches on Tuesday lasting at least through Wednesday morning, maybe a quick stray shower in spots, and highs in the mid 80s.

After a mild morning with lows mostly in the low to mid 70s, Wednesday will be breezy again. A few showers may blow through coastal locations and reach the western suburbs. The risk of dangerous rip currents will remain elevated. Wednesday’s highs will be in the mid 80s.

Thursday will bring a few showers on the breeze, along with clouds and periods of sun. Thursday’s highs will be in the low to mid 80s.

Friday features lots of sun and a few clouds on the breeze, and highs will be in the low 80s.

Faith Based Events

Look for some passing showers and clouds on the strong breeze and highs in the upper 70s on Saturday.

The tropics remain quiet as November gets under way.

She holds a PhD in history when her experience with Hurricane Andrew ultimately led her to earn a degree in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University. Donna spent 15 years at WFOR-TV (CBS4 in Miami-Fort Lauderdale), where she worked as a weather producer with hurricane experts Bryan Norcross and David Bernard. She also produced hurricane specials and weather-related features and news coverage, as well as serving as pool TV producer at the National Hurricane Center during the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Donna also served as a researcher on NOAA's Atlantic Hurricane Database Reanalysis Project. Donna specializes in Florida's hurricane history.
