South Florida will enjoy a nice December Sunday featuring the winter weather that makes us a prime travel destination. After a mild start, Sunday will bring a mix of sun and clouds, with only the chance of a stray shower late in the day. Beachgoers need to be aware of the moderate risk of dangerous rip currents along the Atlantic coast. Highs on Sunday will be in the low 80s.
Monday will be another nice winter day, with sun, clouds, and the possibility of a quick shower near the coast. Monday’s highs will be in the low 80s.
Tuesday will bring more of the same — warm sun, some clouds, and maybe a shower in spots. Tuesday’s highs will be in the low 80s.
Look for a mix of sun and clouds on Wednesday. Wednesday’s highs will be mostly in the low 80s.
A few showers are in the forecast for Thursday, along with sun and clouds. Thursday is the official start of winter, but we won’t feel it here, with highs on reaching the low 80s.
