South Florida will see more clouds around on Wednesday as we wait for an end-of-the-year front to arrive. After early fog (especially dense well inland), we’ll see clouds and maybe a shower, some sun, and highs in the low 80s on Wednesday.
Thursday will be a mix of sun and clouds with a few showers in spots. Thursday’s highs will be in the low 80s.
The front moves through on Friday, and we’ll feel it, with temperatures topping out in the low to mid 70s.
After a cool start Saturday morning, the last day of 2016 features sun, clouds on the breeze, an elevated risk of dangerous rip currents at the Atlantic beaches, and afternoon highs in the mid 70s. Our temperatures will be in the 60s around midnight.
New Year’s Day will be a bit warmer, with sun, clouds on the breeze, and highs near 80 degrees.
