Less Breeze, Some Showers

less breeze

image5South Florida see less breeze and some showers on Thursday. The day features periods of sun, clouds and a few showers on a less vigorous ocean breeze, the continuing risk of dangerous rip currents at the Atlantic beaches, and highs in the mid 80s.

A front approaches on Friday, so look for some passing showers, clouds, and a bit of sun. Friday’s highs will be in the low to mid 80s.

Saturday morning will be a bit cooler, with highs near 70 degrees at the coast and in the mid to upper 60s in the western suburbs. The day will bring some sun, lingering clouds and showers on a building breeze, and highs in the upper 70s. It’s time to set your clocks back one hour, as eastern standard time begins on Sunday.

That “extra-long” day will feature clearing skies, a strong breeze, the increasing risk of rip currents at the Atlantic beaches, and highs in the upper 70s.

Monday will be breezy, and highs will be around the 80 degree mark.

While it’s non-tropical now, it does have a chance of developing some tropical characteristics over the next couple of days. Whether it does or not, it’s expected to remain in the central Atlantic.
