So much for Donald Trump, the great businessman.
According to a lawsuit filed in Miami-Dade County, one of his companies decided it had paid a paint supplier “enough” despite a contract that showed it should’ve paid more — and the supplier hit back at Trump in a BIG WAY!
Miami-based The Paint Spot just obtained a judge’s order that could land Trump National Doral Miami, the golf resort that Trump bought in 2012 for $150 million, into a foreclosure sale by June 28.
It’s a stunning development, and all on the account of a grand total of $32,863 … oh … and 92 cents.
Plus attorney’s fees.
Miami-Dade County Circuit Court Judge Jorge Cueto ordered the Donald Trump-controlled company that owns the home of golf’s famed Blue Monster to pay or face the forced sale of the resort in a June 28 auction.
Cueto’s already filed the final judgment of foreclosure paperwork for a 9 a.m. sale to the highest bidder in the lobby of the main courthouse in downtown Miami.
