Social media is all abuzz with people weighing in on Ivanka Trump’s recent flight from JFK to San Francisco.
Turns out a fellow passenger (who apparently didn’t vote for her dad) starting lashing out at the First Daughter who was traveling with her husband and her children. The passenger was removed from the flight.
JetBlue said in a statement that “The decision to remove a customer from a flight is not taken lightly. If the crew determines that a customer is causing conflict on the aircraft, the customer will be asked to deplane, especially if the crew feels the situation runs the risk of escalation during flight. In this instance, our team worked to re-accommodate the party on the next available flight.”
Depending on the tweets or the Facebook postings you read the confrontation was very real and uncomfortable. All reports indicate that Ivanka handled the incident with great finesse.
The question on everyone’s mind–why in the world is Ivanka Trump flying commercial?
Maybe she needs the miles since JetBlue allows family member to “pool” their miles. Perhaps with the year coming to an end she wants to make sure she still has her JetBlue Mosaic status?
Upon landing in San Francisco the Trump entourage were escorted off the JetBlue flight and onto a private jet to complete their trip to Hawaii. TMZ reports the private jet was previously scheduled and had nothing to do with the incident aboard the commercial flight.
