It’s Downright Cold This Morning But It Will Warm Up

downright

It’s a downright cold Wednesday morning in South Florida, but a warming trend will begin later in the day.  Look for plenty of sun and a few clouds on a chilly breeze to start, until winds shift off the ocean to moderate the chill.  There’s a moderate risk of dangerous rip currents at the beaches of Miami-Dade and Broward — but a high rip current risk along the Palm Beach County coast on Wednesday.  Highs on Wednesday will be in the mid 70s.

Thursday morning will bring lows in the more pleasant 60s, and the day will see sun, clouds, and a few showers in spots.  Look for a high risk of dangerous rip currents at the Atlantic beaches on Thursday into Friday.  Thursday’s highs will be in the upper 70s.

More moisture arrives on Friday, and we’ll see clouds, showers, and maybe a storm or two.  Friday’s highs will be near 80 degrees.

Saturday’s forecast will depend on the approach of another front, but for now, we’ll say a mix of sun, clouds, and showers will dominate the daylight hours, with showers and a few passing storms in the evening and late night hours.  Saturday’s highs will be in the upper 70s.

Look for lingering showers to give way to clearing skies on Sunday.  Highs on Sunday will be in the mid 70s.
