The following news release was issued by the Boynton Beach Police department today:
FOUND PROPERTY:
The Boynton Beach Police department is looking for the owner of this Miami Dolphins helmet, signed by 7 members of the undefeated 1972 team.
The helmet was recovered by our detectives during a search warrant at the home of a burglary suspect in March 2013.
The helmet is signed by Hall of Famers Don Shula, Larry Csonka, Jim Langer, and Larry Little, as well as Mercury Morris, Jim Kiick and Garo Yepremian.
If this helmet belongs to you, please call Evidence Officer Reynolds at 772-742-6172.
Proof of ownership (police report showing theft or certificate of authenticity or photo or you with helmet) is required.
