hotShowers and storms are in the forecast for South Florida on a hot April Tuesday. After a warm and mostly dry morning, Tuesday features building clouds, showers, and storms in the late afternoon and evening. Highs on Tuesday will be mostly in the upper 80s, and some locations could exceed 90 degrees.

 

Wednesday will start with overnight showers and morning lows mostly in the low 70s. The day will bring more showers and some storms, as well as periods of sun. Wednesday’s highs will be in the mid 80s.

We’ll see drier and breezy conditions on Thursday as sun and clouds dominate. Thursday’s highs will be mostly in the mid 80s.

Faith Based Events

Friday will feature good sun and some clouds on the breeze. Friday’s highs will be in the mid 80s.

Look for sun, clouds, and showers at times on Saturday. Highs on Saturday will be in the mid to upper 80s.

She holds a PhD in history when her experience with Hurricane Andrew ultimately led her to earn a degree in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University. Donna spent 15 years at WFOR-TV (CBS4 in Miami-Fort Lauderdale), where she worked as a weather producer with hurricane experts Bryan Norcross and David Bernard. She also produced hurricane specials and weather-related features and news coverage, as well as serving as pool TV producer at the National Hurricane Center during the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Donna also served as a researcher on NOAA's Atlantic Hurricane Database Reanalysis Project. Donna specializes in Florida's hurricane history.
