Hot With Mostly East Coast Afternoon Showers And Storms Today

Afternoon Showers

South Florida will see some afternoon showers and storms on a hot Wednesday.  After a few east coast morning showers, Wednesday features a mix of sun and clouds.  Look for showers and storms to develop along the sea breezes during the afternoon, especially in Broward and Palm Beach counties.  Highs on Wednesday will be in the low 90s in most areas and the upper 80s right at the Gulf coast.

Thursday will bring more widespread showers and some late-day storms as more moisture seeps into our area.  Thursday’s highs will be near 90 degrees.

Friday will feature a mix of sun, clouds, and showers, with late-day storms forming, especially well inland.  Friday’s highs will be near 90 degrees.

Saturday will continue our pattern of sun, clouds, and passing showers, with some storms forming in the late afternoon and early evening.  Saturday’s highs will be in the upper 80s.

Look for more of the same on Sunday — sun, clouds, showers, and late-day storms in spots.  Highs on Sunday will be in the upper 80s.
