The daughters of Henry Ford II‘s widow Kathleen DuRoss Ford told the Palm Beach Police Department that their mother’s lawyer, Frank Chopin, is blocking them from seeing her.
And they’re worried that Chopin may be persuading their mother to write them out of her will!
Chopin has been in charge of Kathleen’s affairs since 1988 when he helped her win a $10.5 million A YEAR settlement from her late husband’s estate.
But now, Kathleen’s daughter, Debbie DuRoss, tells police that Chopin is keeping her from speaking with her mother.
Kathleen is a former model and her health has deteriorated since a back surgery.
A source told the New York Post’s Page Six: “The daughters have only been allowed to talk to their mother by phone with Chopin on the line in a conference call … They’ve been completely shut out for nearly a year.”
Not only must Debbie and her sister Kim be missing their mother, but she does have a $304 million fortune.
One of Kathleen’s many assets is her 300 N. Lake Way house in Palm Beach, worth nearly $35 million.
Rumor is the girls are worried that Chopin may have persuaded Kathleen to change her will.
