Gusty Breezes on Wednesday

Wednesday features a mix of sun, clouds, and showers in the east coast metro area, while the Gulf coast starts the day with cloudy skies that gradually clear.  A moderate risk of dangerous rip currents is in place at the Miami-Dade and Broward beaches on Wednesday, while a high risk of rip currents remains at the beaches of the Palm Beach County coast.  Minor flooding at high tide is possible along the Atlantic coast through Wednesday afternoon.  Highs on Wednesday will be in the low 80s.

Thursday will bring a mix of sun, clouds, and showers on an ocean breeze.  Thursday’s highs will be in the mid 80s.

Another weak front approaches on Friday, so look for plenty of clouds and some showers.  The Gulf coast will see breezy conditions with fairly strong gusts at times.  Friday’s highs will be in the low 80s.

Faith Based Events

Saturday will feature good sun, a few clouds, breezy conditions, and some quick showers in the morning.  Saturday’s highs will be in the upper 70s.

Sunday’s forecast includes lots of sun with a few clouds at times.  Highs on Sunday will be near 80 degrees.

Things remain quiet in the tropics.

She holds a PhD in history when her experience with Hurricane Andrew ultimately led her to earn a degree in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University. Donna spent 15 years at WFOR-TV (CBS4 in Miami-Fort Lauderdale), where she worked as a weather producer with hurricane experts Bryan Norcross and David Bernard. She also produced hurricane specials and weather-related features and news coverage, as well as serving as pool TV producer at the National Hurricane Center during the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Donna also served as a researcher on NOAA's Atlantic Hurricane Database Reanalysis Project. Donna specializes in Florida's hurricane history.
