Veterans Day features some sun but plenty of clouds with periods of showers and storms in the East Coast metro area.  The Gulf Coast and the Keys will see good sun and a few clouds.  A high risk of dangerous rip currents remains at the Atlantic beaches through at least Monday evening.  Highs on Monday will be mostly in the mid-80s, but a few East Coast metro area locations could top out in the upper 80s.

Tuesday will bring plenty of sun and a few clouds at times.  Tuesday’s highs will be mostly in the upper 80s on the mainland and in the mid-80s in the Keys.

Wednesday will feature mostly sunny skies and breezy conditions in the East Coast metro area.  The Gulf Coast will be sunny, while the Keys will see a mix of sun and clouds.  Look for minor coastal flooding at high tides along the Atlantic coast as king tides return for the next few days.  Wednesday’s highs will be in the mid-80s.

Thursday will be a mostly sunny day around South Florida. Highs will be mostly in the low 80s in the East Coast metro area and the Keys and in the mid 80s along the Gulf Coast.

Faith Based Events

Friday’s forecast calls for lots of sun and a few clouds at times.  Highs on Friday will be in the low 80s.

In the tropics, shower activity associated with the low that’s over the Bahamas has diminished, and the National Hurricane Center now gives this feature virtually no chance of becoming a depression.  Elsewhere, Rafael is rapidly falling apart and is now a post-tropical cyclone in the Gulf of Mexico.
