Friday features good sun and a few clouds, with maybe a stray shower in spots.  Look for a gusty ocean breeze in the East Coast metro area.  A high risk of dangerous rip currents remains at the Atlantic beaches through Friday evening and possibly well into the weekend.  Highs on Friday will be in the mid-80s.

Saturday will bring mostly sunny skies and a brisk, gusty breeze. The highs will be mostly in the mid-80s.

Sunday will feature breezy conditions, a mix of sun and clouds, and afternoon showers in the East Coast metro area. The Gulf Coast will see mostly sunny skies and a gusty breeze, while the Keys will be cloudy with periods of showers. Sunday’s highs will be in the mid-80s.

Veterans Day will be mostly sunny on the mainland, but the East Coast metro area will also see some showers on a gusty breeze.  Look for plenty of clouds and some showers in the Keys.  Monday’s highs will be in the mid-80s.

Faith Based Events

Tuesday’s forecast calls for a mix of sun, clouds, and showers in the East Coast metro area and the Keys, while the Gulf Coast will see mostly sunny skies.  Highs on Tuesday will be in the mid-80s.

In the tropics, Hurricane Rafael is turning westward in the Gulf of Mexico, so the Lower and Middle Keys will no longer feel the effects of the hurricane’s outer bands.  but Rafael is forecast to meander and weaken in the south-central Gulf of Mexico for the next few days.  Elsewhere, the area of low pressure near the northern Leeward Islands is moving westward toward the southeastern Bahamas.  It currently has a low chance of development, but we’ll keep an eye on it.
