Front Brings Showers, Storms And Cooler Temperatures

storms

South Florida will see showers and storms on Thursday as a strong front ushers in cooler weather.  Look for those showers and storms on the breeze, beginning in the morning along the Gulf coast and sweeping into Miami-Dade and Broward during the afternoon hours, lasting into the evening. Some of those storms could be strong, with heavy rain and gusty winds.   A high risk of dangerous rip currents remains in place at the Atlantic beaches on Thursday.  Highs on Thursday will be near 80 degrees in the east coast metro area and the mid 70’s at Gulf coast locations.

Friday morning will see a few lingering showers,  with lows near 60 degrees.  Then clouds will gradually diminish.  Look for an elevated risk of dangerous rip currents at the Gulf beaches on Friday.  Friday’s highs will be in the upper 60’s.

Saturday morning will be chilly, with lows ranging from the upper 40’s along the Gulf coast and in the interior to the mid 50’s right at the Atlantic coast.  The day will feature clouds and periods of showers, especially in the east coast metro area.  Saturday’s highs will be in the upper 60’s.

Sunday will bring a cool start, with clouds, some sun, and passing showers.  Sunday’s highs will be near 70 degrees.

Faith Based Events

The rainy and cloudy pattern continues on Monday.  Highs on Monday will be in the low 70’s.
