Wednesday will bring a mix of sun and clouds, followed by periods of showers and storms in the afternoon. Wednesday’s highs will be in the muggy low 90s.
Thursday will feature good sun, clouds at times, and showers and storms during the mid to late afternoon. Thursday’s highs will be in the low to mid 90s.
Look for good sun followed by afternoon showers and storms along the Gulf coast on Friday. The east coast metro area will see a mix of sun, showers, and storms throughout the day. Friday’s highs will be the mid 90s.
Saturday’s forecast calls for the typical summer mix of sun, clouds, showers, and storms. Highs on Saturday will be in the mid 90s again.
In the tropics. the low now centered over Georgia has a medium chance of developing into a depression after it emerges in the waters off the Carolina coast in a couple of days. In any case, it’s expected to bring heavy rains to portions of the southeastern states. Elsewhere, Eduoard is post tropical and out of the picture, and the wave near the Windward Islands is not expected to develop.
