South Florida is welcoming some pleasant fall weather on Saturday and beyond. Saturday morning lows will be mostly in the 60s, and the day will feature plenty of sun, some clouds, and highs in the low to mid 80s.
Sunday morning will feature lows in the mid to upper 60s along the east coast and the upper 50s to low 60s in suburban Miami-Dade and Broward, inland areas, and the Gulf coast. It will be another day of sun and just a few clouds, and highs will hit the low 80s.
An ocean breeze builds on Monday, and the risk of dangerous rip currents will increase at the Atlantic beaches well into the workweek.
Tuesday will be breezy again, with sun and clouds, maybe a quick shower in spots, and highs in the low to mid 80s.
Look for passing showers on the breeze on Wednesday, and highs will be in the mid 80s.
In the tropics, the area of disturbed weather we’ve been watching is not well organized and has a low chance of developing over the next few days. It’s starting to interact with the cold front, and what’s left of the disturbance will be forced to the northeast, away from land.
