It’s safe to say that former NBA superstar Scottie Pippen is having a bad month!
For one, the former Chicago Bulls legend Pippen recently filed for divorce from his wife Larsa Pippen after some twenty years of marriage.
And it turns out the lead up to the split hasn’t been exactly amicable!
Police records indicate that officers were called to Pippen’s Fort Lauderdale residence on Oct. 1st and Oct. 4th to resolve “domestic disturbances.”
The formerly inseparable Pippens reportedly haven’t spoken to each other since the divorce was filed last week.
Instead of falling into despair and nostalgia, Scottie Pippen has been trying to keep himself busy and focused on the now. But even that hasn’t been turning out so well.
For instance, Pippen recently made an appearance at Wrigley field and sang “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” to thousands of Cub fans.
The only thing is, Pippen didn’t sing the song. He murdered it!
On a video recording of the incident, Pippen can be seen slurring and bumbling through the lyrics of the classic song in a rather embarrassing way.
Better luck next time Scottie. Hopefully November treats you better than October has!
But, if the divorce papers filed in Broward County that show Pippen is seeking primary custody of his kids and wants to take the four little ones to Chicago are any indication of the future, he might be in for a long November too.
