East Coast Showers, West Coast Storms

east coast

South Florida won’t escape the wet stuff on Sunday, with early storms and showers along the east coast and afternoon storms in the Naples area and the Lower Keys. Overnight storms will give way to showers Sunday morning in Miami-Dade, Broward, and parts of the Keys on the ocean breeze.

Sunday’s highs will be mostly in the low 90s.

Faith Based Events

east coastThe ocean breeze along the east coast will last into Monday, so look for some early showers. Monday’s highs will be in the low 90s, with afternoon storms again concentrated along the Gulf coast and in the interior.

Tuesday will bring some early showers along the east coast and in the Keys, while afternoon storms will be mostly in the Naples area and the Everglades. Highs will be in the low 90s. Rain chances go up a bit on Wednesday, with showers and storms scattered throughout South Florida as highs reach the low 90s again.

The area of disturbed weather that has brought heavy rains to the northern Gulf coast continues to dump heavy rain on parts of Louisiana and Mississippi, adding to the flood emergency in the region.
