Early Showers and Storms on the 4th

early showers

South Florida will see some early showers and a few storms on the 4th of July, but we should be mostly dry on the east coast for fireworks displays. (But the Gulf coast will see late afternoon storms that could linger into the evening.) Highs around South Florida will be in the low 90s, but it will feel even hotter, so drink plenty of water and non-alcoholic beverages during outdoor festivities.

image6Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will be very hot and mostly dry as Saharan dust moves in. Look for hazy conditions, just the chance of a shower or quick stray storm, and highs in the low to mid 90s.

A few early showers are in the forecast on Friday, along with the possibility of an afternoon storm. Friday’s highs will be in the low 90s.

More showers and some storms will return on Saturday, and highs will be in the low 90s.
