There has been a recent “upsurge in cinnamon’s popularity,” the researchers write, due in part to studies showing its potential use in patients with Type 2 diabetes and other conditions. One 2024 forecast found the global cinnamon market is poised to grow by $412.9 million between 2024 and 2028, growth attributed in part to cinnamon’s growing use in pharmaceuticals.
