Blue Bell Creameries is recalling all its ice cream products made with a third-party cookie dough that may have been contaminated with the listeria bacteria, reports the DallasNews.com
The Brenham-based company announced the recall late Monday after dough-maker Aspen Hills notified customers Sunday that it would be recalling the cookie dough but did not say which companies the dough was sold to.
No illnesses have been reported, Blue Bell said in a prepared statement.
The Sun-Sentinel reports, Publix has issued a voluntary recall for Publix Premium Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice Cream due to the possibility of the product containing Listeria monocytogenes.
Aspen Hills, the supplier of the cookie dough pieces, notified Publix that some of their product could be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, according to a press release from the supermarket.
