The Avenir Has Gone From Concept To Showroom. Now Steve Gets His First Look

It’s been about 3 years since Buick wowed us with the gorgeous Avenir concept; a car that was expected to foretell a future flagship sedan for GM’s premium division. Instead, it’s spawned a new sub-brand designating the highest trim level available.  The 2018 Enclave Avenir was first and coming early in 2018 is the LaCrosse Avenir.

Distinguished by its three-dimensional grille with chrome wings, Avenir script badging and exclusive 19” and 20” wheel designs, Buick says this LaCrosse feeds their customers’ needs for subtle and tasteful details as part of a timeless design.

Features available on other LaCrosse models come standard on the Avenir, including a 310-horsepower V-6, nine-speed automatic transmission, navigation and Bose Centerpoint Surround Sound premium audio, as well as a panoramic moonroof.

Additional available features include a Twin-Clutch AWD system, Dynamic Drive Package featuring continuous variable real-time dampening control and a suite of advanced safety features.

Inside, Avenir-exclusive details include a Chestnut interior color theme, embroidered first-row headrests and Avenir-scripted sill plates.

Buick says 9 out of 10 LaCrosse buyers choose the top 2 trim levels and now this 2018 Avenir gives them an even greater choice.
