South Florida will see one more warm day on Thursday before a strong cold front arrives. After early fog in spots, look for some sun, some clouds, and highs in the low 80s.
The front moves in on Friday, and a cool morning will turn into a windy day with some sun, clouds, a high risk of dangerous rip currents at the Atlantic beaches, and highs topping out near 70 degrees.
Saturday morning will be chilly, with lows in the 50s in metro Miami-Dade and Broward and colder well inland. Then the last day of 2016 features sun, clouds on the breeze, a high risk of dangerous rip currents at the Atlantic beaches, and highs in the mid 70s. Temperatures will be in the 60s around midnight as 2017 rolls in.
New Year’s Day will bring a mix of sun and clouds, an elevated risk of dangerous rip currents, and highs near 80 degrees.
Monday features sun, clouds, a few showers, and highs in the low 80s.
