In the tropics, the wave that’s now in the central Caribbean has a low chance of becoming a depression when it reaches the western Caribbean or the Bay of Campeche later this week or over the weekend. Elsewhere, the wave in the eastern Atlantic now has a low chance of developing, but it will bring heavy rain and gusty winds to the Cabo Verde Islands in a day or so. And there’s yet another wave in the central Atlantic. This one also has a low chance of development before it reaches an area of unfavorable conditions by the end of the week — which will stifle further development.
