Tuesday features a mix of sun, clouds, showers, and storms in the East Coast metro area, with most of those showers and storms in the morning hours.  The Gulf Coast will see good sun and some clouds until showers and storms develop in the late afternoon.  Look for clouds and showers in the Keys.  Expect a moderate risk of dangerous rip currents at the Atlantic beaches on Tuesday into Wednesday.  Highs on Tuesday will be near 90 degrees right at the Atlantic coast and in the Keys and in the low 90s elsewhere in South Florida.  But it will feel at least 10 degrees hotter everywhere, so stay hydrated and out of the sun.

Wednesday will bring mostly sunny skies alternating with showers and storms to the mainland.  The Keys will be on the cloudy side with periods of showers.  Wednesday’s highs will be near 90 degrees in the East Coast metro area and the Keys and in the low 90s along the Gulf Coast.

Thursday will feature a mix of sun and a few storms in the morning, followed by plenty of afternoon showers and storms.  Thursday’s highs will be a mix of sun and clouds alternating with periods of showers and storms on the mainland.  Look for plenty of clouds, showers, and storms in the Keys.  Thursday’s highs will be near 90 degrees in the East Coast metro area and the Keys and in the low 90s along the Gulf Coast.

Friday will see hot sun with mostly afternoon showers and storms on the mainland.  The Keys will see clouds, showers, and some storms.  Friday’s highs will be in the low 90s.

Faith Based Events

Saturday’s forecast calls for hot sun with plenty of showers and storms.  Highs on Saturday will be in the low 90s on the mainland and near 90 degrees in the Keys.

The tropical Atlantic remains quiet.

Donna spent 15 years at WFOR-TV (CBS4 in Miami-Fort Lauderdale), where she worked as a weather producer with hurricane experts Bryan Norcross and David Bernard. She also produced hurricane specials and weather-related features and news coverage, as well as serving as pool TV producer at the National Hurricane Center during the 2004 and 2005 seasons.
