MAUI, Hawaii — New twist in the saga of the Dadow Twins, the former West Palm Beach yoga studio owners who made national news this week when Alison Dadowwas charged with murder in connection with a harrowing accident that killed her identical twin sister Ann.
A judge in the Aloha State threw out the murder in the second degree charge pending against Alison after he decided there was not enough of a probable cause to have her held!
Alison remained in custody overnight on an unrelated disorderly conduct accusation leveled against her in December, when the twins arrived in Hawaii. She is expected to make the $3,000 bail today and fly back to her native Utica, N.Y. for her twin’s funeral.
Police believe Alison deliberately drove the SUV they were riding over a 200-foot ocean side cliff May 29 on the dangerous Hana Highway in Maui, according to news reports.
Ann died instantly when the car landed on the passenger’s side on lava rocks below, and Alison survived. She was listed in critical condition at a local hospital for several days. When she got better over the weekend, she was arrested after police heard she was making plans to leave the island.Hawaii
