Saturday will feature sunny skies and lower humidity. A stray shower is possible in the east coast metro area during the afternoon. Saturday’s highs will be in the mid-80s.
Sunday will be sunny again, but portions of the east coast metro area could see a quick afternoon shower. Sunday’s highs will be in the mid-80s.
Monday’s forecast calls for lots of sun and a few clouds at times. Highs on Monday will be in the mid-80s.
In the tropics, Tropical Storm Karl was stalled out in the southwestern Gulf of Mexico early Thursday but is expected to move toward the Mexican coast later today. At 5 am, Karl was about 250 miles north-northeast of Veracruz. Maximum sustained winds were 50 miles per hour. A tropical storm warning is in effect for portions of the Mexican Gulf coast, where Karl is forecast to come ashore early on Saturday.
Elsewhere, a wave several hundred miles south of the Cape Verde Islands has a low chance of becoming a depression during the next five days.
