By Donna Thomas, SouthFloridaReporter.com Meteorologist, Dec. 23, 2015 – It’s supposed to be winter, but the tropical warmth continues on Wednesday and beyond. After another warm morning, Wednesday features clouds and a few scattered showers on the breeze, a high risk of dangerous rip currents at the beaches, and highs mostly in the mid 80s.
Thursday will be breezy and a bit warmer, with highs in the summerlike mid 80s. We hope Santa likes temperatures in the upper 70s, because that’s what we’ll see on Christmas Eve, along with the possibility of a quick stray shower.
Christmas Day will be breezy, with highs in the low to mid 80s and the chance of a quick shower in spots. Breezy and warm conditions prevail on Saturday and Sunday, with morning lows well into the 70s and highs in the mid 80s. Our tropical warmth continues into the first half of next week.
