By Donna Thomas, SouthFloridaReporter.com Meteorologist, Nov. 25, 2015 – South Florida will be windy and just a bit warmer on this Wednesday before the holiday weekend. Look for a few early showers and lows in the upper 60s to low 70s, followed by gusty easterly winds, some scattered quick showers, a high risk of dangerous rip currents at the beaches (lasting through the weekend), and highs in the low 80s. The full moon brings the risk of minor coastal flooding at high tides on Wednesday and Thursday.
Thanksgiving Day will feature some classic South Florida November weather along with the turkey and trimmings — a strong ocean breeze, a few showers, and highs in the low 80s.
Friday’s lows will be near the 70 degree mark for early shoppers, and the day will continue our trend of ocean breezes, a few quick showers, and highs in the low 80s.
The weekend will bring more of the same breezy November pattern, with a shower or two possible and the ongoing high risk of dangerous rip currents, along with seasonable afternoon highs in the low 80s.
