South Florida’s weather won’t be ideal on a windy and rainy Tuesday. After a few early showers, Tuesday features clouds, showers, and passing storms on gusty winds, thanks to a tropical wave in the Bahamas. We’ll also see a high risk of dangerous rip currents at the Atlantic beaches. A coastal flood advisory is in place for low-lying areas as we see some of the highest tides of the year. Highs on Tuesday will be in the upper 80s.
Look for additional rain, clouds, and windy conditions on Wednesday, and coastal flooding is again possible in low-lying areas. Wednesday’s highs will be mostly in the mid 80s.
Thursday will be breezy, with clouds, showers, and storms, but we could see a bit of sun. Thursday’s highs will be in the upper 80s.
Friday will continue our soggy trend, so look for clouds, showers, and storms. Friday’s highs will be in the upper 80s.
Saturday’s forecast includes clouds, passing showers, a bit of sun, and a few storms. Highs on Saturday will be in the upper 80s.
In the tropics, the tropical wave off our coast has a low chance of developing into a depression. An area of disturbed weather in the northwestern Caribbean has a low chance of developing once it emerges in the southern Gulf of Mexico this weekend.
