South Florida will be mostly dry — but definitely be hot — on Sunday. After a few early showers, especially in the Keys, Sunday will feature hot sun, some clouds on the ocean breeze, a moderate risk of dangerous rip currents at the Atlantic beaches, and just the chance of an afternoon storm in the far western suburbs. Highs on Sunday will be in the low 90s.
We’ll see some early showers in spots on Monday as more moisture works its way in. Look for a mix of sun and clouds and a few afternoon storms, especially inland. Monday’s highs will be near 90 degrees.
More clouds and showers will be around on Tuesday, along with periods of sun and an afternoon storm or two. Highs on Tuesday will be near 90 degrees.
Wednesday will bring some early showers, afternoon storms in spots, and a mix of sun and clouds otherwise. Wednesday’s highs will be near 90 degrees.
Thursday features another mix of clouds, early showers, periods of sun, and some afternoon storms. Highs on Thursday will be mostly in the upper 80s.
The tropics are quiet right now.
