By Donna Thomas, SouthFloridaReporter.com Meteorologist, Dec. 16, 2015 – A cold front is finally on the way for the weekend, but first we’ll have to get through another very warm day on Wednesday. After lows mostly in the mid 70s, Wednesday will bring sun, clouds, just a few passing showers, and highs in the mid 80s.
Thursday will be warm again, with highs in the mid 80s and minimal shower chances. The front will approach on Friday, but the first part of the day will be warm, with highs in the low to mid 80s, before showers and even a few storms move in during the afternoon and evening.
The front sweeps through overnight, and Saturday morning will be much drier and feel decidedly like December, with lows ranging from the mid 50s to the low 60s. The day will feature sun and clouds on the cool breeze, and highs will top off in the mid 70s. Sunday will be breezy and just a bit warmer, with highs in the mid to upper 70s. But the touch of winter won’t last. Look for temperatures to increase and scattered showers to return on Monday and Tuesday.
