A chicken tried to cross the road in Oklahoma City, presumably to get to the other side as the old joke goes, but was apprehended by police. Buzz60’s Sean Dowling has more.
An Oklahoma City police officer witnessed a scene so fowl at a busy city intersection Sunday night that he filmed it and posted it on Facebook.
He saw a chicken crossing the road.
It used the crosswalk.
“You know, just ’cause we’re in the big city don’t mean we don’t have small-town problems,” the officer, from the city’s southwest division, said in the video. “There’s literally a chicken at 10th and Portland, and he’s crossing the road.”
The chicken, little, was such an unusual sight that a local TV station sent out a crew to drive around the area and find its home.
KFOR in Oklahoma City reported that it found “plenty of spacious backyards but there was not one farm in sight.”
