By Donna Thomas, SouthFloridaReporter.com Meteorologist, Jan. 8, 2016 – South Florida will be back in a rainy pattern on Friday, and it will stick around this weekend. After some early morning showers in the Keys, we’ll see plenty of passing showers throughout South Florida on Friday, beginning by lunchtime.
Highs will make it into the low 80s, even with clouds and showers. A high risk of dangerous rip currents remains at the beaches on Friday.
Showers will linger on Saturday, but it won’t be a complete washout. Saturday’s highs will be in the low 80s, and those unseasonably warm temperatures will last into Sunday.
Showers are in the forecast again on Sunday, as a front approaches to cool us down. A few showers could linger early on Monday, but the weather story will be a cool breeze, lots of sun, and highs in the low to mid 70s.
Look for a cool morning on Tuesday, with lows in the 50s and low 60s, followed by a day featuring clouds and showers and highs in the low to mid 70s.
