Wet Weather Wednesday

wet

wetSouth Florida will be wet again on Wednesday, as Colin’s moisture “tail” pumps showers and storms into our area. We’ll see periods of heavy rain with early showers and afternoon storms, and some localized flooding is possible. Highs on Wednesday will be in the upper 80s.

Our weather will remain unsettled on Thursday into Friday as the front that accelerated Colin lingers near us, so we’ll see periods of heavy rain as showers and storms move through. With up to 4 inches of rain possible in some South Florida locations from Wednesday through Friday, localized flooding is likely. Highs will be near 90 degrees on Thursday and Friday. We’ll return to our pattern of mostly inland afternoon storms on Saturday and Sunday, and highs will be around 90 degrees this weekend.

Colin is now a post-tropical system as it races through open waters of the Atlantic, and the rest of the tropics will be quiet for the next few days.
