
South Florida will see some showers and some sun on Wednesday. The day features early east coast and Keys showers on the ocean breeze, just a few stray showers along the gulf coast, an elevated risk of dangerous rip currents at the Atlantic beaches, and highs in the mid 80s.
Thursday will be breezy again around South Florida, with some clouds, showers, and maybe a stray storm moving in. The risk of dangerous rip currents will again be elevated at the Atlantic beaches. Highs will be in the mid 80s again on Thursday.
Look for sun and a few clouds on Friday, with just a stray shower or two. Friday’s highs will be in the mid 80s.
The weekend will bring some early showers, especially along the east coast, maybe an afternoon storm in spots, and highs in the upper 80s on both Saturday and Sunday.
In the tropics, Hurricane Nicole has strengthened as it moves toward Bermuda. At 5 am Wednesday, Nicole was located near 27.9 North, 67.0 West, and was moving north-northwest at 7 miles per hour. Maximum sustained winds were 100 miles per hour. Nicole will move over or very near Bermuda late on Wednesday into Thursday
