
At 11 am Thursday, Potential TD # 16 was located near 22.4 North, 95.7 West, and was moving north at 8 miles per hour. Maximum sustained winds were 35 miles per hour. TD # 16 is expected to become a tropical or subtropical storm sometime on Thursday.

TD # 16 will speed up and begin affecting portions of the Gulf coast on Friday. People there should expect tropical storm conditions, including flooding rains and storm surge.
