Professional wrestling may be fake, but former WWE star Shad Gaspard was a real action hero when he stopped an armed robbery in Coral Springs.

And the whole thing was caught on surveillance video.

Gaspard said he’d gone to a convenience store to get some iced tea and while he was standing in line a man approached him from the back and said, “Yo, buy me some beer.”

The classy Gaspard said he responded by saying, “Hey man, that’s kind of disrespectful. There’s a better way to come at it. You come at me correct, I’ll get you something to drink.”

Unfortunately, the 5-foot-8 fellow, who obviously had a death wish, didn’t take the polite road. Instead he lifted his shirt up to reveal a gun in the waistband of his pants.
