By Donna Thomas, SouthFloridaReporter.com Meteorologist, Dec. 10, 2015 –
South Florida will be warmer on Thursday as drier air finally creeps in, but don’t count out a few lingering showers.
After early morning fog in spots, we’ll see sun and clouds, a few quick showers in spots, and highs in the low to mid 80s.
Friday will feature sun, clouds, a building ocean breeze bringing in an isolated shower or two, and highs in the mid 80s. The weekend will be warm and mostly dry, with just a stray shower on a strong ocean breeze (which will also increase the risk of dangerous rip currents at the beaches and rough boating conditions offshore). Highs will be in the mid 80s on both Saturday and Sunday.
Breezes will taper off on Monday and Tuesday, and a few quick showers will be in the forecast. Highs will be in the low 80s during the first part of the workweek.
