Warmer Weather In The Afternoon

Warmer weather

South Florida will finally get warmer beginning Saturday afternoon, but another cold morning comes first. Saturday morning lows in the 50s will give way to afternoon temperatures in the low 70s as winds shift from the northwest to a more easterly flow on a dry day with a lot more sun than we saw on Friday.

Sunday will start with morning temperatures mostly in the 60s, sun and clouds, an increasing risk of dangerous rip currents, and highs in the upper 70s. An upper air disturbance moves through late on Sunday, bringing showers and storms that will linger into Monday.

Monday’s highs will be in the upper 70s, thanks to rain and clouds. Tuesday and Wednesday will be much drier and warmer than typical for early February, with highs in the low 80s. Some showers return on Thursday, with highs reaching the 80 degree mark.
