By Donna Thomas, SouthFloridaReporter.com Meteorologist, Dec, 14, 2015 – South Florida will be warm with some passing showers on the breeze, but some weather changes are on the way. After a morning with lows in the unseasonable mid to upper 70s,
Monday features a gentler breeze than we’ve seen lately (but enough to contribute to a moderate risk of dangerous rip currents at the beaches), some passing showers in spots, and highs in the mid 80s.
Tuesday will begin with another warm morning with patchy fog in spots, giving way to sun and clouds, a few scattered showers, and highs in the mid 80s.
Wednesday and Thursday will see sun and clouds, a few showers, and highs in the mid 80s. Rain chances will increase on Friday as a cold front approaches, but highs will still make it into the mid 80s. The front should clear South Florida late on Friday or early Saturday morning, bringing drier air and more December-like highs in the upper 70s.
