Warm Today, Showers This Evening

warm

WarmSouth Florida’s holiday weekend begins with a warm Saturday, followed by some late showers. After a pleasantly cool morning, look for a mix of sun and clouds, with Saturday’s highs reaching the low to mid 80s. Showers and maybe a stray storm move in late as a disturbance in the Gulf of Mexico enters our area. Most of the energy with this disturbance will be spent over northern Florida, so the chance of strong storms is minimal.

warmThe showers will linger into Sunday, and we’ll see plenty of clouds with enough sun to allow highs to reach the unseasonable mid 80s.

The last day of the Presidents Day weekend will be the best in terms of weather. Look for lots of sun on Monday, along with a few clouds. Highs on Presidents Day will be in the low 80s.

Tuesday will be dry and pleasant as well, with plenty of sun, a few clouds, and highs in the low 80s.

Faith Based Events

Wednesday’s weather depends on the speed of our next front, which computer models indicate will arrive late in the day. Look for clouds to develop on a building breeze during the day on Wednesday, along with highs in the low 80s. Showers and storms will arrive late Wednesday afternoon, and the evening and overnight hours could be quite stormy.
