Warm and Mostly Dry Saturday

By Donna Thomas, SouthFloridaReporter.com Meteorologist, Dec. 12, 2015 – South Florida will be mostly dry and on the warm side for a mid-December Saturday. A mild morning will give way to sun and clouds, a few quick showers in spots, a building breeze, and highs in the mid 80s.

image13The risk of dangerous rip currents grows as ocean breezes increase during the afternoon, and the rip current risk will remain high into Monday.

Sunday will start out quite breezy and mostly dry, but rain chances will increase during the afternoon and evening. Sunday’s highs will be in the low to mid 80s.

Look for some showers on a strong breeze on Monday, along with highs in the low to mid 80s.

Faith Based Events

The breeze will relax and a few showers will linger on Tuesday, when highs will mostly reach the mid 80s.

Just a few showers and highs in the mid 80s are in the forecast for Wednesday and Thursday.

Computer models indicate a front could make it through South Florida late in the week or early next weekend, but we’ll have to wait to see if a December cooldown is on the way.
