In a time when truth is often the first casualty of war and misinformation spreads faster than facts, journalism serves as a crucial line of defense for democracy.
Join United Help Ukraine for a powerful webinar, “Truth Under Fire: Journalism in the Age of Misinformation,” featuring former Voice of America reporters and other prominent figures dedicated to uncovering and defending the truth.
As authoritarian regimes abroad work tirelessly to distort narratives and silence dissent, the role of free, independent media has never been more essential. This timely conversation will explore the current state of journalism, the global battle against disinformation, and how truthful reporting supports Ukraine’s fight for freedom.
“Stand with the voices that refuse to be silenced. This is an opportunity for the general public, our supporters, donors, and the community to ask questions, provide feedback, and stay informed about how we are responding to the challenges at hand,” said President & Executive Director, Maryna Baydyuk, United Help Ukraine.
