“We’re proud that President Elect Donald J Trump has chosen Orlando, ‘The City Beautiful’ for his thank you tour stop,” Randy Ross, Chairman of the Orange County 4 Trump campaign, told South Florida Reporter. “TRUMPERS are traveling from all over Florida for this historic event. What a great Christmas present for America.”
Long a swing state with 29 of the 270 electoral votes needed to win, Trump placed an especially strong emphasis on Florida. Stunning Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton in the November election, this will be Trump’s first visit to the Sunshine State thanking supporters. Governor Rick Scott will make an appearance at the rally on Friday.
The Orlando Sentinel wrote: “Orange County doesn’t like Donald Trump,” said Democratic state Representative Carlos Guillermo Smith of East Orlando. “Why is he coming back here? … Literally, Orange County rejected Republicans’ message of bigotry and misogyny very loudly and very clearly.”
For the first time since 2004, Florida produced a Republican winner with Trump taking 49 percent of the vote to Clinton’s 47 percent.
Doors to the Orlando Amphitheater will open at 4 p.m. with President-Elect Trump and Vice President-Elect Pence arriving around 7 p.m. Thousands are expected for what is expected to be an hour speech. Trump is also scheduled to visit Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Alabama next week. The President-Elect has already visited Ohio and Louisiana on his unusual, post-election tour.
“President-Elect Trump began his White House bid as an unconventional candidate and this resonated with the American people,” RPOF Chairman Blaise Ingoglia told South Florida Reporter. “He has chosen to continue this unconventional way of thinking with his stellar Cabinet appointments.”
The “USA Thank You Tour 2016” will be held Friday, December 16th at the Orlando Amphitheater. Doors will open at 4 p.m. and plenty of parking is available. Tickets are available to the general public on a first come, first served basis, with a limit of two per mobile device.

“Trump has not only chosen outstanding leaders; he has chosen a Cabinet rich in extensive experience, strategic vision and individuals committed to his promise of a government with checks and balances, accountable to the people. The RPOF applauds President-Elect Trump’s Cabinet appointments,” concluded Ingoglia.
