Tropical Wave And Tropical Depression #6 Update

Tropical Depression # 6 has formed late Friday afternoon.  At 5 pm Friday, TD # 6 was located near 13.8 North, 24.7 West, and was moving west at 15 miles per hour.  Maximum sustained winds were 35 miles per hour.  Some strengthening is expected as the system remains in the open Atlantic.

The wave that will bring us rain on Labor Day has a low chance of developing during the next 5 days.  We’ll continue to keep an eye on that one.
