Today’s Weather In A Word – Nice

nice
It’s late October in South Florida, and we’re enjoying some nice weather again on Tuesday.  After a mild start, Tuesday features good sun and some clouds on a mostly dry day.  The only glitch is an elevated risk of dangerous rip currents at the Atlantic beaches (which will last through the workweek).  Highs on Tuesday will be in the mid 80s.
Wednesday will be a repeat, with a nice mix of sun and clouds.  Then look for a dry early evening, perfect for Halloween parties or trick-or-treating.  Wednesday’s highs will be in the mid 80s.
A few showers are back in the forecast on Thursday, and we’ll also see sun and clouds on the ocean breeze.  Thursday’s highs will be mostly in the mid 80s.
Friday will bring some showers and clouds as a front approaches.  Friday’s highs will be in the mid to upper 80s.
The front moves in on Saturday, but it will stall out.  That adds up to showers and clouds, but not much of a drop in temperatures.  Highs on Saturday will be in the mid 80s.
In the tropics, Hurricane Oscar is making its move to the north.  At 5 am, Oscar was located near 28.6 North, 58.2 West, and was moving north at 13 miles per hour.  Maximum sustained winds were 105 miles per hour.  Oscar will bring high surf to Bermuda but will remain far from land.
